Connection security
WordPress Application Passwords are different from the firm's normal login password. They can be limited, tested, encrypted at rest, and revoked independently.

Optional social distribution
When a client has selected and actually connected an eligible channel, approved articles can produce channel-specific copy and branded image assets. A selected destination is not treated as connected until the server confirms the grant.
Connected Page publishing can use the approved article URL or a branded photo post when no live article URL exists.
Connected Instagram Business publishing uses supported image ratios and waits for Meta's asynchronous media container to finish.
Other channels
Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, and X depend on the client's verified connection and the currently supported publishing mechanism.
Honest connection state: NewsFeed distinguishes requested, selected, connected, failed, and posted. It does not turn a client-side button click into a verified grant.
Integration questions
Do I need to give NewsFeed my main WordPress password?
No. Use a separate WordPress Application Password that can be revoked without changing the main administrator password.
What if my site is not WordPress?
You receive the approved article as ready-to-paste HTML and plain text. Your team or developer publishes it.
Does choosing Facebook mean it is connected?
No. Connection is shown only after the server receives and matches a verified platform grant.
